A: Sure you could do that, although I would not recommend it because of the safety hazard that no experience creates. There are so many areas under the fur of a dog that are easily nicked or cut. Also if you do not use the right approach while grooming your dog he may become a real challenge to groom in the future. If you accidently nick his foot, then the next time you groom him he is more likely to mis-behave when you pick up that foot. If you use the wrong type of shampoo for your dog you may run into problems with his coat, skin or both. There are so many reasons to have some kind of instruction before trying to groom your dog.
